Combat #2 Event 10/05/2025
We were greeted by another beautiful weather day with winds right down the runway from the South. These winds intensified as the day went on but it did not deter our 12 Combat contestants!
5 Rounds were flown as the day went one, it was a tough day for cutting streamers, but the field corn claimed many planes. Luckily, all planes were eventually retrieved with several pilots having to resort to their
back-up plane(s) as the Rounds progressed.
After 5 Rounds were completed and scored, the pilots agreed to a final “Melee flight” for fun. Several planes were lost during this “Melee Flight”.
Scores were tabulated and awards were given out.
We first drew for the Club Raffle and prizes consisted of a Hanger 9 Meridian ARF and Four (4) Hitec HS5585 servos. New member Doug Slone won the Hanger 9 ARF, and our President, Glenn Pazinin won the Hitec
Servos!
And finally, pilots were allowed to choose from over $700 of merchandise donated by our sponsors based on
their points total at the end of 5 rounds of flying. They were as follows:
